Chicago Lollapalooza & High Waisted Shorts

This year I got to go to Lollapalooza for the first time, the largest music festival held in Chicago, and it was a blast! Luckily I got to share the experience with my two good friends too! The overall festival theme was high-waisted shorts, the good and the bad, it was everywhere. The music trumped the fashion hands down!

 I mixed it up with a cut off pair of shorts from Forever 21 ($19), an old crop top from my days at A&F that I got at a sample sale($3) and a mix of vintage jewelry and jewelry I made myself. The tassel earrings I made from bike tires and the small black faceted bead necklace I made Ill have up for sale soon. Pictured further down is the vintage Whiting and Davis purse I carried that fell apart on me slowly throughout the day : (

Northern California Vacation!

I recently went on an amazing trip with my boyfriend Eric to northern California. We started out flying into Oakland, renting a car, and driving down the coastline. We stayed the night in a quaint little beach town called Carmel that was nothing short of any village cut right from a Disney movie, little cottages everywhere with the most beautiful gardens!

We then took off and made our way to Big Sur which was absolutely stunning. There we visited Pfieffer Beach and Point Lobos State Park, the views were all stunning and it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. 

We then drove back up north where we spent two nights in San Francisco, taking a day trip to Muir Woods in the midst of giant Red Wood trees and breaking for lunch in the beautiful coast town of Sausalito.

Amazing time!!

Summer Wedding

This summer a my jewelry partner and close friend Chrissy got married and last minute I found this vintage dress on Ebay for $18!!

The ceremony was at St. Marys Church downtown which was just beautiful.

This  stunning Vera Wang dress suited her perfectly but the best part is that she hand embroidered every crystal and bead on her belt! Shes pretty incredible : )
