Eva Franco, it was Love at First Sight!

A few weeks ago I helped out at Stylemax Chicago, which is the largest women's tradeshow in the Midwest. I worked under Scout Showroom, and got to rep one of my most favorite brands, Eva Franco. Eva Franco is known for her vintage inspired pieces and amazing fabrics that she gets from all around the world. One her pieces is this peplum top from her Holiday Collection, which I had to order for myself.

ABC 7 News Feature on The Chicago Sidewalk Sale

Last week I was busy getting ready for the Chicago Sidewalk Sale that I was participating in for my jefferson + lake jewelry line that I started with my friend Chrissy.

And on Monday I was asked to model a few pieces from Comfort Me Boutique on ABC 7 news!!!

I had never been on tv like that, minus a few appearance on the Weiner Circle on tru TV, so I had no idea what to expect. But it was fun, I stumbled a little, and had a good laugh watching the video:

 I pulled this dress out of a suitcase packed with clothes that I had not seen for quite sometime!

My mom had actually thifted this soft cotton jersey dress by United Colors of Benetton and at first I was not into it because of the length, but after re-discovering it...I like it!

On the second day of our sale I wore this vintage maxi dress I found at an estate sale here in Chicago. My mom and I are both wearing jefferson + lake hoop earrings. And the amazing necklace my mom is wearing is by a Danish designer named Monies.

 I later accessorized with a vintage Oscar de le Renta head scarf and a vintage designer wide belt.
