Photo Shoot with Nikki Evans and Anew Consignment

Last Saturday I had so much fun dotting around town taking photos in fun outfits, and I had the honor of having the talented Nikki Evans and Amanda Adlesick take my pictures. I posted just some of them to share, but they did such a great job and the pictures turned out great!

I just recently met Nikki and immediately knew this girl was awesome. She's super cool and as you can see, super talented! Check out her site NEphotography.

Anew Consignment in Geneva, IL. 

The store is stocked full of great finds, including Isabel Marant and Christian Louboutin for $150, along with cute affordable finds and an entire stock of prom and bridal consignment. In fact, I borrowed the polka dot dress and longer summer dress for the photo shoot from Anew, and then of course had to buy the summer dress for myself after the shoot because I just fell in love with it!

Hobo Chic

I love the bohemian look, but it was my brother who called me a hobo and I thought it was hilarious. I cant wait for this spring and summer crochet trend. More and more crochet items are popping up in dresses, tops, and even swim suits. And I love it all!

Alice Temperly for Target

I just love this easy to wear dress, its just so cute and classic! And I got it from Target! Its by Alice Temperly for Target. Alice Temperly is also one of the designers whose name is being thrown around as a possible designer for the Royal wedding dress. I love this dress because its made out of a great material, has a great preppy pattern, and cute button sleeves. Love it!

I'm also wearing a necklace that I put together using two vintage necklace chains and a vintage pocket chain with a mustard seed locket. If you've never heard of a mustard seeing being worn, or more or less captured in a locket, its an old good luck tradition. You can find mustard seeds in rare vintage pieces. I was going to put this necklace up for sale on my Etsy pate, but it seems I have misplaced it after taking these pics! Im hoping the luck of the seed brings it back to me!!

CHI TOWN

So Im a little late posting these, but on April 1st I went downtown with my boyfriend to the John Hancock building downtown Chicago to the 95th Observatory Floor. Well, most places this time of year see April showers in the form of rain, but here in Chicago we had April snow showers. Womp, womp.

The next morning (with hair and makeup from Friday nights dance party) I was over at my friend Erins in Wicker Park and took some pictures on top of her great rooftop, complete with great views of the city.
